Dio Kavalieratos, PhD, is Associate Professor and Director of Research and Quality for the Division of Palliative Medicine at Emory University's Department of Family and Preventive Medicine. His research develops, evaluates, and implements palliative care models for serious chronic illnesses, with expertise in qualitative methods, clinical trials, and health services research. He holds leadership roles as Associate Editor of the Journal of Palliative Medicine and Steering Committee member of the Palliative Care Research Cooperative Group.
