Dino Giergia

Dino Giergia is a Lecturer at various institutions including Business Academy Rijeka and the University of the North in Croatia, specializing in management and leadership. He holds a PhD in Management from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb and has extensive professional experience in strategic development and entrepreneurship. Alongside his academic roles, he serves on the Management Board of Dea Flores doo and founded Alavi Natural Cosmetics doo.

Education: Dino Giergia completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in Management at the Faculty of Economics in Rijeka (2011), and earned his PhD from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb in 2017 with a dissertation titled *"The Influence of International Experience of a Top Manager on the Internationalization Strategy of Companies in the Republic of Croatia."

Research Interests: His academic work centers on innovative leadership models such as transformational leadership, spiritual management, and intergenerational leadership, alongside topics like digital economy and intercultural management. He has authored multiple scientific papers in management disciplines.

Professional Experience: Since 2009, he has been employed by Dea Flores doo, advancing to Management Board member in 2014. In 2016, he founded Alavi Natural Cosmetics, distributing organic products regionally. He also served on the Thematic Innovation Council for Health and Quality of Life at Croatia’s Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts (2018-2020).

Teaching: He teaches courses in Commercial Business, Leadership, Digital Economy, Intercultural Management, and Marketing Strategies across undergraduate and graduate programs.
