Dinah Harris ARCM, FRCM is a Vocal Studies professor at the Royal College of Music (RCM) within the Vocal & Opera school. She has dedicated her career to vocal education and performance after transitioning from a professional singing career.
Harris specialized in vocal pedagogy with particular expertise in the technical aspects of the singing voice and vocal rehabilitation. Her professional journey includes extensive international experience as both performer and educator, with significant contributions to voice clinic methodology through her co-authorship of the Voice Clinic Handbook.
Throughout her teaching career, Harris has maintained a studio that includes both established professional singers and emerging talents at the beginning of their careers. Her approach combines practical performance experience with scientific understanding of vocal mechanics.
Harris has been actively involved in the international voice community, participating in major voice conferences across multiple continents including the Pan Pacific Voice Conferences in San Francisco, Vancouver Voice Conference, Australian Voice Association events, and Canadian Voice Care Foundation workshops in Banff.
