Prof. Dr. Dina Siegel is a Professor of Criminology at the Willem Pompe Institute for Criminal Law and Criminology, part of Utrecht University's School of Law. Her research focuses on organized crime, with expertise in areas such as the Russian mafia, human trafficking, drug smuggling, terrorism, and cultural criminology. She also explores intersections of environmental justice with gender and sexuality issues through projects like "Double victims: escaping environmental as well as gender or sexuality injustice."
- Education: Social Anthropology and Sociology from Tel Aviv University; PhD from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (1996).
Her teaching includes Bachelor's minor courses in International Organized Crime and Criminological Research, and Master's courses in Critical Reflection in Criminology and Cultural Criminology. She is affiliated with the Willem Pompe Institute for Criminal Law and Criminology at Utrecht University.
