Dina Lentsner is a Professor at the Conservatory of Music of Capital University, where she joined the faculty in 2004. Her research focuses on the intersection of music and literature, particularly in contemporary classical music.

- Graduate studies in Composition at Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory
- Bachelor of Music in Music Theory from Pskov Province School of Music
Her research spans musico-poetic analysis of works by composers like György Kurtág, George Crumb, and Lepo Sumera, with publications in journals across France, Hungary, Switzerland, Canada, and Georgia. She has taught seminars at the University of Basel and Estonian Academy of Music and received a research grant from the Paul Sacher Foundation.

- Crumb’s Gothic aesthetic in madrigals
- Sumera’s Estonian folk vocal cycles
She has contributed book chapters to Centre and periphery, roots and exile (Wilfrid Laurier University Press, 2011) and translated Stravinsky’s Pulcinella facsimile (A-R Editions, 2010).
