Dr. Dina Frutos-Bencze is a Professor and Department Chair in the Economics & Business Department at Saint Anselm College. She holds a Ph.D. in International Business from Southern New Hampshire University, complemented by an MBA from Oxford Brookes University (UK-Hungary), M.S. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of New Mexico, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Louisiana State University. Her professional background includes 9+ years of international corporate experience across Europe, Latin America, and the U.S., which informs her teaching and research.
Her research focuses on global business strategies, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), environmental sustainability, and multinational enterprises' roles in emerging markets. Key themes include the intersection of trade policies, innovation during crises, and corporate responsibility. She has conducted Fulbright research at the University of Hradec Kralove (Czech Republic) and holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
Teaching specialties include International Business Management, Business in Emerging Markets, and Social Innovation. Her work bridges academic rigor with real-world applications, emphasizing how multinational firms can drive equitable economic growth while addressing environmental challenges. Recent scholarship highlights Industry 5.0's impact on job satisfaction, post-pandemic innovation, and cross-regional sustainability comparisons between Latin America and the MENA region.
