Dimitris Anastassiou is the Charles Batchelor Professor of Electrical Engineering and Professor of Systems Biology at Columbia University. He is affiliated with the Department of Systems Biology and the Center for Cancer Systems Therapeutics (CaST), focusing on computational biology with emphasis on data mining and systems-based analysis of biomolecular datasets.
- Education: Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from University of California, Berkeley.
Research Interests: His work bridges Systems Biology and Neuroengineering, leveraging computational methods to analyze complex biological data. This includes developing algorithms for data mining and systems-based approaches to understand biomolecular interactions.
