Dimitrios Koufopoulos

Dr Dimitrios Koufopoulos is a Visiting Professor at Queen Mary University of London's School of Law, an Honorary Research Fellow at Birkbeck University of London, and Director of the Global Online MBA Programmes at the University of London. He also holds adjunct roles at the Hellenic Open University and supervises students at the Universities of Glasgow and Warwick. His career spans academic roles at Brunel University (2002-2018) and Cardiff University (1991-2002).

Qualifications: BSc, MBA, PhD. Research focuses on Corporate Governance, ESG, Board Dynamics, and Strategic Management, with a regional emphasis on Greece, Europe, and Asia. He founded the Hellenic Observatory of Corporate Governance (HOCG) in 2007, studying governance in sectors like Maritime, Healthcare, and Football Clubs. Key outputs include 41 journal papers, 119 conference papers, and 30 book chapters.
