Dimitra Soulioti

Dimitra Soulioti is a Senior Lecturer in Materials Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University's Department of Engineering and Mathematics. She holds a PhD in Materials Engineering from the University of Ioannina and a Civil Engineering degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She joined SHU in 2014 as an Associate Lecturer and became Senior Lecturer in 2021.

Her research focuses on mechanical behavior of structural and composite materials using destructive and non-destructive methodologies. Current projects include advanced lightweight composites for structural applications and non-destructive monitoring of advanced materials.
