Dimitra Magkafa is a Research Fellow at the School of Law, University of Sheffield, where she has worked since July 2022 on Project Fortitude. This project, led by Professor Dawn Watkins, aims to enhance legal capability in children under 15 through game-based learning and participatory design. She holds a PhD in Education and Childhood from the University of the West of England and an MRes in Research Methods.

Her career includes research roles at Cardiff Metropolitan University and the A Better Start Southend program, addressing early childhood support and innovative service delivery.
