Associate Professor Dr. Dima Marius Dumitru serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Sports and Physiotherapy at the Romanian-American University (URA) since 2020. With extensive dual expertise in academic education and performance sports, he previously worked as a physical trainer for top Romanian football teams including Sportul Studențesc, Universitatea Craiova, Steaua București, Dinamo București, and the Romanian National Team from 2005 to 2020.
His research spans foundational and applied dimensions of physical education:
