Dilini Bodhinayaka

Dilini Bodhinayaka is currently involved in research at Charles Sturt University's School of Information and Communication Studies, focusing on academic library systems with particular emphasis on Sri Lankan higher education contexts.

Her research interests center around academic libraries, Sri Lanka studies, grounded theory methodology, and undergraduate student experiences. Her work examines how pre-admission students understand academic library resources and services, with significant implications for library user education programs.

Her recent publications demonstrate a consistent research trajectory examining academic library usage patterns among undergraduate students in Sri Lanka through qualitative grounded theory approaches. These studies contribute valuable insights to library and information science, particularly regarding cross-cultural understanding of academic resources.

Dr. Bodhinayaka actively participates in academic research communities, having attended the School of Information and Communication Studies Research Retreat in December 2021 as a participant alongside colleagues from her department.
