Dilge Dilsiz is an Assistant Professor of Communication Design at Miami University (Oxford, OH). She holds an MFA in Studio Art from Stony Brook University and a B.A. in Psychology, Studio Art, and Architectural Studies from Lafayette College. Her research focuses on sociocultural hierarchies, power dynamics, and diasporic identities, employing photography, design, mixed-media, and new media. She has exhibited widely in the U.S. and Europe, including solo exhibitions at Lawrence Alloway Gallery (NY) and virtual platforms addressing social injustice.
- Key Awards: Dorothy G. Pieper Award (2022), CaPA Scholars Program (2016–2019), Rothkopf Scholars Award (2018).

Her work integrates art therapy, collaborating with marginalized groups such as female inmates in Northampton County Prison to address substance abuse recovery. She uses a hauntological approach to explore the liminality of diasporic individuals, blending human geography with metaphorical narratives of cultural displacement.
