Dileep Reddy

Dileep Reddy is a Researcher at the Quantum Nanophotonics Group affiliated with the University of Colorado-Boulder and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Oregon and has academic backgrounds in Electrical Engineering and Communications from the Indian Institute of Technology-Madras.

His research focuses on superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors (SNSPDs), including device development, dynamics, and novel applications like particle detection and caloriemetry. He also works on:

• Temporal-mode selective nonlinear optics

His publications highlight advancements in high-efficiency SNSPDs and their implementation in quantum communication systems. Recent work explores backward-wave three-wave mixing and internal conversion decay measurements.

He contributes to prototype metropolitan-scale quantum networks using single-photon transmission technologies.
