Didier Fouarge is a Full Professor at Maastricht University's School of Business and Economics, affiliated with the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA) and the GSBE UM Behavioral Insights Center. His academic career spans over 15 years with significant contributions to labor economics and policy research.
Professor Fouarge's research focuses on labor market dynamics, education and career choices, occupational mobility, and the impact of technological changes on workforce development. His work examines how labor market information influences educational decisions, the effects of AI on workplace productivity, and the relationship between technological innovation and social inequality. He employs both quantitative methods and field experiments to investigate how individuals make career decisions and how labor markets function.
