Dianne Stratton-Maher

Dr. Dianne Stratton-Maher is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ). She holds affiliations with the Centre for Health Research, School of Education, and Institute for Resilient Regions. With over 30 years in nursing, her career spans intensive care practice, academic leadership, and nursing education innovation. She currently serves as First Year Student Experience Coordinator and Course Coordinator for a first-year nursing course, focusing on integrating generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT) into ethical essay writing assessments.
