Dr. Dianna Shandy is the provost and vice president of academic affairs at Augustana College, where she oversees academic programs, faculty affairs, and initiatives like the Center for Engaged Learning, Teaching and Scholarship (ELTS), the Augustana Prison Education Program, and the Center for Visual Culture. With over 25 years of higher education leadership experience, she previously served as inaugural interim dean and professor of anthropology at Macalester College.

Her research explores migration, refugees, gender and work, and African/African diaspora studies. At Augustana, she led a Teagle Foundation grant to revamp first-year curricula and advocates for faculty excellence through financial collaboration and strategic initiatives.
