Diane Norton is a Senior Lecturer in Children's Nursing at the University of Greenwich's School of Health Sciences (Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences). Since joining in 2009, she has coordinated pre-registration/post-registration children's nursing courses and the BA Hons Childhood Studies programme, while lecturing across nursing disciplines.
Her clinical responsibilities include liaison with Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Woolwich) and children's community services in Bromley/Bexley. She brings unique perspective from 12 years of healthcare and education work in Nepal as nurse, midwife, and lecturer.
Her scholarly interests encompass:
- Transcultural nursing practices
- International healthcare development
- Cross-cultural curriculum design
She disseminates experiences through publications and conference presentations with fieldwork in India, Uganda, Cambodia, and Czech Republic.
