Diane Miller serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Information Systems within the College of Business at Colorado State University. She teaches CIS 200: Business Information Systems and BUS 150: Business Computing Concepts and Applications, an online course preparing students across all campus colleges for business communication using Microsoft Office tools.
Her expertise spans Business Information Systems, User Interface and Graphic Design, Graphics Software Programming, and Data Analysis. Drawing from over two decades in the technology industry—including roles as a Member of the Technical Staff at Hewlett Packard involving program management, international technical training, and sales support—she integrates real-world corporate experience into her pedagogy. Her teaching emphasizes practical technology application in business contexts while bridging academic concepts with industry realities.
Ms. Miller actively engages students through course instruction but has no documented formal graduate student advising responsibilities or research grants. Outside academia, she pursues art creation, gardening, historical photo digitization, and emerging technology experimentation, reflecting her dual identity as a "Tech Chick" and artist.
