معرفی
Diane Bassham is a distinguished Professor and Walter E. and Helen Parke Loomis Professor of Plant Physiology at Iowa State University's Department of Genetics, Development and Cell Biology. She holds a B.Sc. (Honours) in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham and a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the University of Warwick. Her research focuses on vacuolar autophagy's role in plant stress responses, particularly abiotic stress tolerance and leaf senescence regulation. She joined Iowa State University in 2001 and has been recognized with fellowships from the American Society of Plant Biologists (2020) and the AAAS (2021).
