Diana Riboli serves as a Professor in the Department of Social Anthropology within the School of Social Sciences at Panteion University, Athens, Greece.
Her research focuses on:
- Indigenous studies examining cultural preservation and sovereignty movements
- Ethnomedicine analyzing traditional healing systems
- Anthropology of religion and consciousness exploring altered states
- Anthropology of conflict and violence in social contexts
- Ethnography of South and Southeast Asia documenting regional practices
She teaches core courses including Anthropology of Disasters, 'Indigenous' Peoples, Sustainability and Globalization, Ethnomedicine, Methodology of Social Anthropology, and the postgraduate specialization Anthropology of Shamanism: Political and Therapeutic Dimensions.
