معرفی
Diana Pinho is an invited Assistant Professor at the Instituto Politécnico de Bragança (IPB) and a collaborator at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory. She holds a BSc and MSc in Biomedical Engineering from IPB, and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Porto (2018). Her research focuses on microfluidic devices for blood cell analysis, blood rheology, and their correlation with pathologies. She collaborates with institutions like the University of Extremadura and the MEtRICs I&D Centre, University of Minho.
Her educational background includes a thesis on 'Blood rheology and red blood cell migration in microchannel flows,' supported by a scholarship from Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia. She teaches courses in Micro/Nanotechnologies, Cardiovascular Biomechanics, and Solid Biomechanics at IPB, and leads biomedical projects at FabLab IPB.
Her publications (over 55) explore microfluidic device efficiency, blood cell deformation analysis, and automation. Research interests include integrating automation to enhance microfluidic systems.
