Alberto Pinto

Alberto Pinto is Full Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto. He researches dynamical systems and game theory with applications in economics, biology, and physics. Professor Pinto serves as Series Editor for Springer Monographs in Mathematics and co-founded the Journal of Dynamics and Games.

He was President of the International Centre for Mathematics (CIM) from 2011-2016 and coordinated multiple national research projects on nonlinear hyperbolic systems. Pinto co-authored Fine Structures of Hyperbolic Diffeomorphisms and has published over 100 scientific papers.
