Dr. Diana Georgescu is a Lecturer in Transnational/Comparative Southeast European Studies at University College London's School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES). She holds a PhD in History from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2015) and completed postdoctoral research as a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence. Her academic background includes interdisciplinary training in Gender Studies (Central European University, Budapest) and early specialization in literary, cultural, and film studies at the University of Bucharest.
