Diamond Reynolds serves as a Part-Time Faculty member in Accounting at Wayne State University's Mike Ilitch School of Business. She teaches undergraduate accounting courses including Introduction to Financial Accounting (ACC3010) and Introduction to Managerial Accounting (ACC3020) across multiple terms through Fall 2025.
Her educational background includes both a Bachelor's in Accounting and Master of Science in Accounting from Wayne State University. She began her career in public accounting in 2013 and became a Certified Public Accountant in Michigan in January 2016.
- Native Detroiter and graduate of Martin Luther King Jr., Sr. High School
- Founded her self-named CPA practice in May 2018
- Has extensive background in for-profit and not-for-profit accounting, audit, and tax
Professor Reynolds serves on the Richard H. Austin Scholarship Advisory Committee, which awards scholarships to underprivileged students from Wayne, Macomb, & Oakland Counties who enroll in Wayne State University's Accounting program. She is also active in the community through volunteering at Gleaners Food Bank, Enjoy Detroit, and Capuchin Kitchen, and sponsors a charity basketball game benefiting survivors of domestic violence and sex trafficking.
