Di (Wendy) Wang

Di (Wendy) Wang serves as an Associate Professor of Instruction at the University of Texas at Austin, holding a joint appointment in the Department of Government and the International Relations and Global Studies (IRG) program within the College of Liberal Arts. Her teaching portfolio includes international political economy, globalization, and capstone research courses, complemented by leadership of a successful study abroad program in Singapore and Vietnam.

Dr. Wang earned her Ph.D. from Texas A&M University, establishing her expertise in global economic-political dynamics. Her research program centers on international political economy with concentrated focus on sovereign wealth funds and foreign direct divestment politics, examining how geopolitical factors shape state investment strategies and corporate withdrawal from international markets.
