Deyu Tu is an Associate Professor and Docent at Linköping University, affiliated with the Organic Nanoelectronics Group and the Laboratory of Organic Electronics (LOE) under the Department of Science and Technology (ITN). His research focuses on organic nanoelectronics, neuromorphic systems, and biorealistic electrochemical neurons, with recent work on mixed ion-electron conducting polymers and neural biomimicry.
His publications in Nature Communications, NATURE ELECTRONICS, and Annual Review of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering highlight advancements in organic mixed conductors, single-transistor neurons, and mmWave measurement technologies. These works often intersect materials science, neuroengineering, and printed electronics.
He contributes to cutting-edge research at LOE, which explores organic-inorganic hybrid systems for applications in neural interfaces, energy devices, and next-generation medical therapies. The group’s work aligns with Linköping University’s strategic focus on Life Science Technologies (LSX) and Materials Science for Sustainable Technologies.
