Devra Hermosilla

Devra Hermosilla is an Adjunct Professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, with nearly three decades of experience in labor and employment law. She serves as an assistant dean for career and professional development and works in labor and employment law for a public school district.

• Education: BA from Pacific Lutheran University, JD from Seattle University School of Law, MA in Higher Education from the University of South Dakota (2020).

Research and Practice focus on employer representation in collective bargaining, employment litigation, administrative hearings, and compliance counseling. Her teaching areas include Constitutional Powers, Advanced Legal Reasoning, Employment Law, and Torts.

Scientific Awards:

• Nominated as Rising Star Super Lawyer in employment litigation.

Devra Hermosilla has taught law since 2016 and balances her academic and legal practice with family life and roller derby involvement.
