Detlef Stammer

Prof. Detlef Stammer is Professor and Head of Remote Sensing & Assimilation at Universität Hamburg. His research centers on satellite oceanography, sea level variability, and climate-scale ocean modeling.

Research Focus: Stammer investigates ocean circulation dynamics, sea-level change mechanisms, and the integration of satellite data with climate models to improve Earth system understanding.
