Desislava Yordanova is a Professor at the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Sofia University. She specializes in entrepreneurship education, SME management, and family business dynamics. Her teaching focuses on entrepreneurship, innovation, and international management across bachelor’s and master’s programs.
Her research explores digital transformation in SMEs, gender dimensions in entrepreneurship, and institutional influences on entrepreneurial behavior. She has published extensively in top journals like the International Small Business Journal and presented at over 20 conferences. Notably, she received the 2017 Diana Conference Best Paper Award for work on women’s entrepreneurship.
