Desislava Angelova Popova

Desislava Angelova Popova is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Pre-school Pedagogy at the Faculty of Education, St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Turnovo. Her research focuses on speech therapy, special education, and interventions for children with developmental disorders, leveraging creative methodologies like storytelling and visual aids.

Her work spans Speech and Language Therapy, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Alternative Communication Systems. She investigates therapeutic approaches for aggressive behavior, social skill development in institutionalized children, and sensory integration techniques for language acquisition.
