Derrick L. Cogburn is a Professor at American University with joint appointments in the School of International Service (Department of Environment, Development & Health) and the Kogod School of Business (Department of Information Technology & Analytics). He founded the Institute on Disability and Public Policy (IDPP), co-directs the Internet Governance Lab (IGL), and leads the Collaboration Laboratory (COTELCO). His research focuses on socio-technical infrastructure, global ICT policy, and AI-driven text analytics.
