Derrick Campbell

Derrick Campbell is an Associate Professor and Director of Physical Therapy Clinical Education with board certification in orthopedic physical therapy. His clinical expertise spans adult/pediatric orthopedics, neurology, and sports rehabilitation. At the College of Rehabilitative Sciences, he teaches evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation courses.

His research focuses on ACL injury prevention, clinical education optimization, differential diagnosis, and student retention strategies. He maintains active involvement in professional policy through the Texas Physical Therapy Association House of Delegates and researches clinical decision-making, simulation learning, and dementia care.
