Professor Derek McCormack is a distinguished academic in Cultural Geography at the School of Geography and the Environment, University of Oxford, and a Fellow of Mansfield College. His career spans roles at the University of Southampton and leadership in innovative teaching, including the Cultural Spaces undergraduate course and the Research Design module for MSc students. He is a recipient of multiple teaching awards and a British Academy Mid-Career Fellowship.
