Derek Johnston is a Lecturer and the Associate Chair for Undergraduate Studies within the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Texas Tech University’s Whitacre College of Engineering. He earned all his degrees (BS, MS, and PhD in Electrical Engineering) from Texas Tech University, with his PhD awarded in 2025.
