Jingyu Lin is a Professor at the Whitacre College of Engineering, Texas Tech University, holding the Linda F. Whitacre Chair in Electrical and Computer Engineering and serving as Co-Director of the Nano-Photonics Center.

The 15 most recent articles highlight advancements in hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) quasi-bulk crystal growth, neutron detector development, and optical gain material optimization. Subfields span doping techniques, wide bandgap properties, crystal anisotropy, and device transport mechanisms.
