Derek J. Sakata, MD, is a Clinical Professor and Vice Chair of Perioperative Innovations in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Utah. He also serves as Executive Medical Director / Chief Medical Officer for 25+ medical specialties in the University of Utah Healthcare’s Ambulatory Southern Service Delivery Area. Adjunct appointments include Bioengineering and Ophthalmology.
