Dr Denny Pencheva is a Lecturer in European Public Policy and Politics at University College London (UCL), Department of Political Science. She also serves as Graduate Dissertation Tutor and Co-Director for Careers and Alumni. Her PhD in Politics from the University of Bristol (2019) preceded her UCL appointment in 2020.
Her research focuses on European and British politics, with emphases on Brexit, migration, labor policies, and EU enlargement. Key areas include Brexit’s socio-economic impacts, EU migration’s influence on UK political parties, and the political communication of sovereignty narratives. Regional expertise spans the UK, EU, Scandinavia, and Eastern Europe/Balkans.
