Dr. Dennis Teti is a Professor at The Institute of World Politics (IWP) and a seasoned political professional with 35 years of experience in government and academia. He previously served as a Senior Advisor to the House Budget Committee, a consultant to the House Financial Services Committee, and held roles in the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. He contributed to landmark reports, including the Iran-Contra Affair investigation (1987) and the 1776 Commission Report (2021).
Education:
- BA in Political Science from Cornell University
- MA in Political Philosophy from the Graduate Faculty of the New School for Social Research
Research Interests: Dr. Teti specializes in American Political Thought, the History of Political Philosophy, and the interplay between Social/Moral Theology and Constitutional Law. His work emphasizes foundational texts like Aristotle’s Politics and the Federalist Papers, as well as modern applications of these principles to contemporary governance challenges.
