Dennis Schoeneborn is Professor of Communication, Organization and CSR at Copenhagen Business School and Visiting Professor of Organization and Management at Leuphana University Lüneburg. His research centers on the communicative constitution of organization, exploring how communication processes dynamically shape organizational structures and practices across digital and physical domains.
His educational background includes a PhD from Bauhaus University of Weimar and habilitation from University of Zurich. Key appointments include serving as head coordinator of the EGOS Standing Working Group 'Organization as Communication' (2015-2020) and current Associate Editor of Human Relations.
Professor Schoeneborn's research spans Organization theory, Organizational communication, Corporate social responsibility, Digital media and communication, and New forms of organizing. His work examines communicative dynamics in organizational emergence, CSR discourse polarization, and algorithmic governance, with particular focus on how digital media reshapes organizational boundaries and ethical practices.
Recent publications reveal evolving trends toward analyzing digital disruption in organizational foundations, including DAOs, post-truth communication, and sociotechnological systems' impact on collective reasoning. His scholarship consistently bridges classical organizational theory with contemporary digital phenomena through rigorous discourse analysis.
