Prof. Deniz Başkent is a Professor at the University of Groningen (RUG) and affiliated with the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG). He leads the dB SPL Lab, focusing on human perception, particularly in hearing and speech, with specialties in cochlear implants and hearing impairment.
