Denise Vigani, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Philosophy and Director of the Women and Gender Studies Program at Seton Hall University. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from The Graduate Center, CUNY, with additional certifications in Women's Studies, and degrees from the University of Auckland (MA) and Drew University (BA). Her research focuses on virtue ethics and moral psychology, particularly Aristotle’s theories of virtue, practical reasoning, and the intersection with empirical studies in psychology and cognitive science.
