Professor Denise Sheer is a leading Human Geneticist at the Blizard Institute (Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London). Her research focuses on chromatin architecture, nuclear organization, and the molecular pathology of pediatric brain tumors, particularly low-grade gliomas. She also investigates protein aggregation in neurodegenerative diseases and cancer genetics/epigenetics.
