Denise Marciano, M.D., Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in kidney disease within the Division of Nephrology. She holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Dartmouth College (magna cum laude), a Ph.D. in Cellular Biophysics from The Rockefeller University, and an M.D. from Weill Cornell University Medical College. Her postdoctoral training included nephrology fellowship and a research fellowship in the Louis F. Reichardt Lab at UCSF.
Her research focuses on kidney development, regeneration, and congenital abnormalities, employing cellular, genetic, and biochemical approaches.
