Dr Denise MacDermott is a Senior Lecturer in Social Work at Ulster University's School of Applied Social and Policy Sciences, based at the Magee campus. She holds leadership roles such as Subject Lead and course director for the Pg/Dip MSc in Professional Development in Social Work, and chairs the Collaborative Forum Management Board for undergraduate social work. Her expertise spans civic engagement, social justice, and innovative pedagogies.
