Denise Gomez is a Graduate Research Assistant at the Information Institute within the College of Communication & Information at Florida State University (FSU). She is pursuing a Ph.D. in Information and aims to transition into higher education roles. Her background includes 7 years as a Media Specialist in Elementary schools, 6 years teaching high school TV Production, and 3 years managing a tea room. She holds an M.S. in Library and Information Science (2020) and an M.S. Ed. in Media (2006), alongside a B.S. in Communications (1996).

Advising & Grants: Currently contributes to research initiatives at the Information Institute, focusing on evidence-based library education. Her collaborative research addresses societal challenges through library-driven solutions.
