Dr. Denise Geiskkovitch is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing and Software at McMaster University, holding the Barber-Gennum Endowed Chair in Information Technology. Her research focuses on designing socially meaningful human-robot interactions across age groups, combining computer science and psychology to address challenges in healthcare, education, and everyday life. She explores topics like trust calibration through robot errors, social robots for children with disabilities, and telepresence systems for remote communication.
