Denise Dimon is a Professor of Economics at the Knauss School of Business, University of San Diego. She served as Director of the Ahlers Center for International Business for over 20 years and as Associate Provost for International Affairs for over a decade. Her career spans founding the school’s international business major and full-time MBA program, establishing global partnerships, and leading consulting projects across four continents.

Dr. Dimon’s research focuses on international business, Latin American studies, and the ethical dimensions of globalization. She explores topics such as cross-cultural management, trade policy, and sustainable development in emerging markets.
Her publications highlight trends in Latin American business, globalization ethics, and regional economic integration. She has collaborated with institutions like Tecnológico de Monterrey, NEOMA Business School, and EADA, while contributing to organizations including the United Nations Development Programme and the Interamerican Development Bank.
