Denise Byrnes serves as a Clinical Dental Hygienist (academic rank: Clinical Assistant Professor) in the Diagnostic, Laboratory, and Therapeutic Sciences Department at Ferris State University's College of Health Professions. With eleven years of dedicated service, she instructs in the Dental Hygiene program, bridging clinical practice and academic training.
Her educational foundation includes an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Dental Hygiene (1994) and a Bachelor of Individualized Studies (BIS) concentrating in Communication and teaching psychology (2012), both earned at Ferris State University. This dual expertise informs her teaching methodology and patient-centered curriculum design.
