Denis Tirpák is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Management within the Faculty of Management, Economics and Business at the University of Prešov in Slovakia. His academic position places him among the faculty members specializing in management education and research.
Dr. Tirpák's research interests focus on employee engagement in various sectors, public administration, and regional development. His work bridges theoretical management concepts with practical applications in organizational settings, particularly examining how employee engagement functions across different industry sectors.
He has held significant research positions including head of the Grant to support research activities of doctoral students at the University of Prešov and has participated as a member of research teams for multiple KEGA and VEGA projects, which are prominent research funding programs in Slovakia.
During his doctoral studies, Tirpák served as vice-chairman of the Academic Senate for the student part, demonstrating early leadership capabilities within academic governance structures. His consultation hours are held on Wednesdays from 12:00-1:30 p.m. by appointment in Room 325 at Konštantínova 16, Prešov.
